Depart Hawker for Marree via Leigh Creek open cut mine. After a rest stop at Marree we continue north over the vast expanse of Lake Eyre along the Warburton Groove to the Warburton River mouth and follow the verdant Warburton River for 40 miles before tracking north east direct to Birdsville via the remote & arid Simpson Desert. See country rarely seen or even visited by vehicles or tourists.

We stay overnight in the famous outback town of Birdsville and you can check out the Pub!

Next day we depart Birdsville for Innamincka via Goyder’s lagoon and Coongie Lakes, an unforgettable visual experience.

We take a break at Innamincka then depart for Hawker where our flight path takes us out over remote desert and then the full length or the rugged and magnificent Northern Flinders Ranges before ending the trip by overflying the iconic Wilpena Pound prior to descending to Hawker.

$1500 per person(minimum 4 people)
